The real costs of the Camp Fire will take decades to properly assess. Any written numbers will have to shift as the ash and mud continue to make their way downstream through Butte Creek, Big Chico Creek, Little Chico Creek and the Feather.

Every rain storm now continues to turn the rivers brown. Today, November 8, the seven year mark from original ignition of the Camp Fire, reminds everyone of the fire we cannot forget.

Its burned. Over 80 lives gone.
Structures too.
Blame?… Resolution?
Restoration?

Recovery? In process.

Paradise is vulnerable in so many ways. Geographically. Fuels. Loading. History.

Magalia is just above it and burned in its own way in the Camp Fire.
